Get paid to make UGC

Brands need short videos of real people using their products. You film them on your phone, in your own voice. Every brief sets out the product, the videos and the pay before you start, and joining is free.

Honest videos, shot on a phone

This is for people who film honest product videos on their phone. If you'd tell a friend the truth about something before they bought it, and you'd say it on camera, brands want to hear from you.

  • You show what you use. People ask what's on your desk or in your bag, and you show them, flaws included. That honesty is what brands are paying for.
  • Your phone is enough. Daylight from a window and a quiet room are the whole setup. Brands want videos that look like a real person made them, because one did.
  • Followers are optional. Brands are paying for the video. If a brief needs it posted on your own account, it says so before you start.
  • So is your face. Hands-only demos and voiceovers are UGC too. Plenty of good product videos never show who's holding the phone.

What brands ask for

Every brief names the format, the length and where the video ends up. Here's what each format means in practice.

  • Product demo

The product doing its job from start to finish, somewhere real: a kitchen, a bag, a desk.

  • Review

Your real opinion, good and bad, in your own words. Brands want it to sound like you.

  • Unboxing

First impressions as it comes out of the box: the packaging, the setup, what's inside.

  • How-to

One thing, taught clearly: how to set it up, how to use it, or how to get more out of it.

  • Before and after

The difference the product makes, filmed the same way twice so the change is real.

From brief to paid

Every UGC campaign starts with a brief, and you read all of it before you film anything. The rest goes like this.

  1. Pick a brief

Each UGC campaign spells out the product, the kind of video, the platforms, the rules and the pay before you start.

  2. Film it your way

Product demos, honest reviews, unboxings, how-tos. Shoot on your phone, in your own voice, the way you'd post it yourself.

  3. Submit for review

Send your video through Clipugo. The brand's rules are checked before anything goes live or gets paid.

  4. Get paid

Approved videos are paid from the campaign budget, on the terms the brief set out.

Rules

  • Film it in real use: gym bag, desk, car
  • Natural light, no beauty filters
  • Captions burned in
  • Mark it as paid with #ad or the platform's label

Pay is set in each live brief, so you see it before you film anything.

What makes UGC work

Brands can tell a video that sells from one that just shows the product. Most of the difference comes down to a few habits.

  • Hook early

Open on the result, the reaction or the problem, not on a hello. People decide almost instantly whether to keep watching.

  • Show it in use

Hands on the product, in a real kitchen, bag or desk. A product sitting on a table sells nothing.

  • Natural light, clean sound

Face a window and film somewhere quiet. Viewers forgive a phone camera. They don't forgive bad audio.

  • Captions on

Lots of people watch with the sound off. Burned-in captions keep them with you to the end.

  • One idea per video

One feature, one problem, one result. If you have three things to say, that's three videos.

  • Say it's paid

Use the platform's paid-partnership label or a clear #ad wherever it's required. It protects you and the brand.

Is it free to join?

Yes. Clippers and UGC creators never pay to join Clipugo or to join a campaign.

Apply to join
I make UGC, not clips. Can I join?

Yes. Apply as a UGC creator and show us videos you've made. Brands post briefs for the videos they need, and you pick the ones that fit.

How do UGC creators get paid?

Each UGC campaign sets its pay in the brief, so you know the terms before you film anything. Approved videos are paid from the campaign budget.

When do I get paid?

After your work is approved and, for clipping, your views are verified. Pay comes out of the campaign budget, so a campaign's terms and remaining budget are always shown before you join.

Do I need a big following?

No. Short-form feeds show videos to people who don't follow you yet, so strong work can do well on a small account. Some campaigns set their own requirements, and you'll see them before you join.

Do I have to say a video is paid?

Yes, wherever the law or the platform requires it, and for paid promotion it usually does. Use the platform's paid-partnership label or a clear tag like #ad. The guidelines explain when.

Can I join more than one campaign?

Yes. Join as many as you can keep up with, as long as every video follows its own campaign's rules.
